Hi, I’m Rosie Rey—a freelance writer, author, and all-around word wrangler. When I’m not deep into a personal writing project, I’m helping clients put their thoughts into words that feel true, clear, and meaningful.
I work on everything from obituaries and heartfelt toasts to business procedures, blog posts, and scripts. Whether you need help finding your voice, polishing your message, or just someone to talk it through with—I’m here for it. Writing can be hard. You don’t have to do it alone.
I specialize in collaborative writing. That means we shape the message together, whether you're starting with a few scribbled notes or just an idea you can't quite name yet. My job is to help you find the right words—for the right reasons—and make sure they land with purpose, clarity, and care.
Outside of client work, I write poetry, creative nonfiction, and scripts that explore identity, memory, resilience, and the humor that lives at the edges of hard things. My work has appeared in collections like Faces: Black and Blue and in local readings, anthologies, and community stages. More of that work will be added here as the site continues to grow.
